Toronto’s Yorkville

Toronto DlishIf you ever are visiting Toronto, be sure to get a hotel in or stop by Yorkville where there is shopping galore and great food. It is close to Queen’s Park for a nice picnic or if you are the kind that likes to jog, this is also perfect for that. The Royal Ontario Museum is located here too. I recommend that if you go to the ROM, leave a whole afternoon opened, there are so many wonderful exhibits and the gift shop has something for everybody.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I am a lover of food so I look for cool places to eat. Off of Yonge St and Yorkville Ave is Dlish, the Canada based cupcake store that have several flavors varying from day to day. My favorites are Red Velvet, Dark Chocolate and Nutella. Cross the street and there is Crêpes à GoGo where you can have savory and sweet crepes. There usually is a wait but I think it’s worth it.

Of course there is shopping, on Bloor St, there is more affordable stores like H&M to the popular pricy places like Louis Vitton.
